Most of us can't help but feel like we are stuck in a winter-weather rut right now, but most aren't stuck like those on Pennsylvania Street in Detroit. The street has been covered in ice since a water main broke on Sunday, trapping those who live there - and their vehicles.  

Those living on the street have also not had water since the break, yet water was still bubbling out into the street Wednesday night.

"I pay my bills to get my water out of the faucet, not the street," says Edith Hubbard.

DDOT has a regular bus route along the street. Wednesday night FOX 2 cameras were rolling when a bus got stuck trying to maneuver around another stuck vehicle. The bus was eventually towed, and neighbors came to the rescue to push the other vehicles out.

They tell FOX 2's Andrea Isom they've been calling the water department, and have been told they are on the list but no action was taken for three days. After the bus was reported stuck, a crew came to the scene.

A spokesperson with the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department says crews are now out working to solve this problem, and are attempting to shut the water main off at Jefferson and Conner to stop the water here and there.
