Elmhurst family of five arrested in drug bust

ELMHURST, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Five members of an Elmhurst family were arrested Thursday after police allegedly discovered cocaine and drug paraphernalia in a west suburban home.

The Elmhurst Police Department executed a search warrant in the 800 block of North Indiana Street in Elmhurst as part of an investigation in illegal drug sales. Officers found 27 grams of cocaine and two ounces of a cocaine cutting agent, police claim.

They also found a drug scale, bags commonly used in the packaging and sales of narcotics and other paraphernalia. Hydrocodone, Xanax and Cannabis were also found, the release said. Elmhurst police also seized $1,848 from the residence.

Donald J. Sullivan, 49; Gregory Sullivan, 38, and Donald M. Sullivan, 22, was were all charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, the release said. Donald Sullivan was also charged with possession of cannabis.

Gina Sullivan, 46, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the release said. They were all transported to the DuPage County Jail.

Geno Sullivan, 21, was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. He was released on bond.
