CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Columbia College and Marist High School graduate Mike Cullen helped produce "Cowboy Kid," one of the commercials that aired during the Super Bowl as part of the Doritos "Crash the Super Bowl" contest.

The Beverly native joined Good Day Chicago via Skype from Los Angeles Wednesday morning, to explain how he got involved. The way Mike puts it, his friend needed help and he said yes.

Cullen made another appearance on Good Day Monday morning, to explain what it was like watching the ad run near the end of the game with his team. Mike said the room just exploded!

The winning teams saw their work on the most-watched sporting event on TV, have a chance at winning $1 million and working with Marvel on the set of "The Avengers: Age of Ultron."

Cullen is also a comedic actor, who's currently working on a YouTube series called "Sad Boss."

Great job Mike! Congratulations!
