Tech Talk: Glyph aims to offer entertainment minus the screen

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WJBK) -- At times it looks like headphones. Other times it reminds us of RoboCop. But either way, it mostly looks like the future.

An Ann Arbor tech startup is hoping to change the way we watch movies, play video games and listen to music.

Avegant says The Glyph is the future of mobile personal theatre. Using over 1 million micromirrors in each eye piece, The Glyph reflects a sharp, vivid and lifelike image directly into your eye.

Thanks to over a million dollars from Kickstarter supporters, the company has created a prototype that it is ready to send out.
