'No Colors' Sign At Restaurant Creates Huge Controversy

Posted: Updated:

It's the story that has stirred controversy in Michigan.

Workers at a Taylor Bar are now getting death threats over a sign they have posted outside their business.

The sign reads no "colors" allowed and video of the sign has gone viral on Facebook. Many believe the sign has racial overtones and that black people are not welcome at the bar

But the bar's owner sets the record straight

"The sign says it's no colors allowed. It's for like biker club colors or gang colors and some guy posts a video on Facebook saying there's no coloreds allowed with a "d" which would mean black people and that's not what we do here because a lot of our customers are black, and that's not what we're about," says CO-Owner of Beer Belly's Bar & Grill, Aaron Stevens

So far, the video has been shared over 3,000 times on Facebook.
