NEW YORK (AP) - A suspect has been arrested in the death of a rapper caught in a hail of bullets in an SUV in Queens last month.

Jamal Green was killed when someone fired into the SUV full of people on Jan. 3. Three other people were injured in the attack.

The Daily News reports that the Green, 42, was a rapper who performed under the name Mazaradi Fox.

The newspaper reported that he was a childhood friend of rapper 50 Cent.

Police said Tuesday that Jamal Scott, 35, has been arrested in the attack. He was nabbed at his job at Hyatt Place Hotel on West 36th Street, according to the NY Post.

He faces charges including second-degree murder, attempted murder and felony assault.

It was not clear whether Scott had an attorney.
