Omar Hopes to Be Awarded A Forever Family

Posted: Updated:

Yes, its awards season again here in Los Angeles … and the "Days Left Until" clock is ticking towards Oscar Sunday. But before we get to Oscar Sunday, we're giving you Omar
Wednesday as Wednesday's Child and our new friend Omar spend some time at Doris Bergman's Annual Oscar Style Party -- where Oscar winners past and future convene and vie for the latest styles rather than statues.

Omar (1998) has proven to be a strong contender during his young life. Having spent the majority of his years so far in foster care, Omar chooses to focus on the positives and tries to learn and grow from the obstacles he's had to negotiate.

Omar is a well-spoken teen and a great advocate for himself. Omar prides himself in earning good grades in school and has his eyes on attending college, possibly study forensics and ultimately helping others. And whether one is walking down a red carpet, negotiating obstacles, doing advocacy work or networking towards a future goal -- it doesn't hurt to look one's best! Omar got the opportunity to be fitted for a custom-made suit and shirts and was
gifted with some accessories as well, so Omar will be looking as sharp as he is.

Omar rubbed elbows with stars and held his own weight at this event, even against the likes of "The Incredible Hulk" star Lou Ferrigno. Fortunately for Omar, you do not need to possess Hulk-like strength or give Oscarworthy performances to be a great adoptive parent. You just need to be committed to being there with a can do attitude.

This week we want to make a federal case for Joseph (1998) finding a forever family, so we obtained the necessary clearances to accompany Joseph to the Los Angeles Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). And during our friendly investigation, we found Joseph to be a dynamic teen with a good bit of focus and determination for someone his age.
