Wilson Red Line station rehab moving forward

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The CTA's Wilson Red Line stop will get a $203 million makeover this fall.

The project finally received the green light after the Uptown community and CTA officials cleared up a few conflicts.

The improvements will increase rider capacity and improve safety around the station making it more accessible to people with disabilities.

It will also be the only Purple Line transfer point between the Belmont and Howard Red Line stations.
