ATLANTA -

An Atlanta-area wig designer is suing rapper, Nicki Minaj, because he alleges she stole his ideas and profited from them.

Celebrity wig designer, Terrence Davidson, plans to sue Minaj for $30 million because she "without Davidson's knowledge or consent, created what has become a multi-million dollar wig business selling Davidson's designs."

According to the lawsuit, Davidson said he and Minaj planned to go into business together and "provide wigs designed by Davidson and made famous by Minaj, to the general public."

Davidson is being represented by Attorney Chris Chestnut and he says this case marks the "first-ever intellectual property dispute involving wigs."
