An enterprising 13-year-old Girl Scout and her mother were in search of new avenues to push those addictive Tagalongs and Trefoils when what might be considered a stroke of marketing genius struck, marijuana munchies make for marvelous cookie sales.

In just two hours on President's Day, Danielle Lei sold 117 boxes of Girl Scout cookies outside The Green Cross marijuana dispensary in San Francisco. Danielle's mother Carol contacted the dispensary before setting up shot outside and The Green Cross was all for it, telling Mashable via email that, "It's no secret that cannabis is a powerful appetite stimulant, so we knew this would be a very beneficial endeavor for the girls."

And if you think the Girl Scouts organization would have a problem with this, think again! Dana Allen, director of marketing and communications for Girl Scouts of Northern California, told Mashable, "The mom decided this was a place she was comfortable with her daughter being at. We're not telling people where they can and can't go if it's a legitimate business." Apparently, the arrangement worked for both parties because The Green Cross has welcomed the Leis back this Saturday, February 22nd. Of course, all the cash Danielle brings in goes toward her dues and supporting the Girl Scouts worldwide.
