CENTER LINE, Mich. (WJBK) -

A fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident on 11 Mile Road just east of Van Dyke Avenue in Centerline is under investigation.

Around 11:30 p.m. Thursday a body was found in the roadway. Emergency crew responded and found small signs of life but the victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. She is a white female in her 60s.

An autopsy performed Friday morning concluded the woman died from injuries sustained from a vehicle accident.
