Chicago wants to stagger city sticker purchase dates

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

There are some big changes on the way if you own a car in the city of Chicago.

The city wants to start staggering the dates for buying stickers so they don't all come due in June like they currently do.

It's designed to end the long lines that occur when people need to buy stickers at the last minute.

It's also going to eliminate the two week grace period for stickers that currently exists.

The traditional two week "grace period" to get it could be going away.
