SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Vice President Joe Biden visited a Scottsdale pancake restaurant Friday morning to speak about health care with government officials and advocates.

A media pool report says Biden arrived at Butterfield's Pancake House and Restaurant at 10:04 a.m. and was greeted with a light round of applause from the crowded restaurant.

According to the White House, discussion at the table was to center on efforts to sign up people for health insurance under the federal health care law.

Biden flew into Sky Harbor International Airport early Friday morning.
