FAA investigating laser pointer incident at Hanscom

Posted: Updated:

BEDFORD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The Federal Aviation Association is investigating another incident involving a laser near Hanscom Field in Bedford.

Investigators say someone shined a green laser into the cockpit of a chartered flight Friday night. The plane was about 3,000 feet in the air and climbing at the time of the incident.

No one was injured.

A green laser also illuminated the cockpit of a Delta flight out of Logan International Airport, as well as a JetBlue flight out of Providence Tuesday.

The FBI recently began offering rewards in several cities for tips that lead to arrests in laser pointer incidents.
