Two Car Accident Leaves One Victim Paralyzed

Two cars collided traveling northbound on Roosevelt Boulevard , causing serious damage that led to one driver in critical condition at Temple University Hospital.

The incident occurred around 3:45 a.m. on Sunday. Officers responded to the accident at 9th and Roosevelt Blvd and found that one of the two vehicles had struck a tree and a metal guard rail.

The collision was caused by one vehicle that was crossing from the outer lane into the inner lane, causing them to crash into each other.

The 42-year-old driver of vehicle two was extracted from the vehicle and is suffering from head trauma and broken ribs. He has been paralyzed from the waist down as a result of this incident.
