The ashes were found along a road in rural Lodi by people who had no idea what they were, or who the box belonged to.

"Just an everyday thing to come check the mail, and there was a gold box in there," said Mel Davis who found the gold box.

"Made a joke about it someone sent me a gold bar, cause this thing was heavy," continued Davis.

"My sister thought that's a bomb. It has to be a bomb," he said.

When they opened the urn they found ashes.

Soon, Davis got in touch with the Kramers. "What they did was wrong, but they were right to return it," said Davis.

As for the other items the Kramers lost, both say they're not worried about them and that they got the most valuable item back.
