North Side polling place moved ahead of Tuesday election

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A North Side polling place has been moved for Tuesday's general primary election.

Voting for Precinct 10 in the 48th Ward was originally slated to take place at the Swedish American Museum, 5211 N. Clark St., but that building is closed until further notice as crews work to remove a damaged water tank, according to a statement from the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners.

Precinct 10 voting will instead take place at North Shore Baptist Church, 5244 N. Lakewood Ave., the statement said.
