TAMPA (FOX 13) -

Police in Tampa say they've arrested a man for repeatedly filming people in the bathroom after the company itself supposedly did nothing about it.

According to investigators, 40-year-old James Stanton captured 123 computer files that show five victims using bathrooms and showering in the locker room at MaintenX, where he is the company's CFO.

"What Mr. Stanton did was an absolute, complete invasion of these people's privacy, and it's downright shameful," Tampa Police Major Brian Dugan said Friday.

Tampa Police say he rigged a hidden camera in the company's locker room and recorded at least 7 women. Stanton himself is even seen in some of the videos, adjusting the camera. During a search this morning, detectives say they found more than 200 videos on his computer, dating back to 2010.

Police say an IT employee discovered the videos when he was asked to service Stanton 's computer. He said he provided the videos and information to management, but after he saw no action from them, he went to police.

The raided the company Friday morning.

"You can imagine what it was like to go down there at 9 a.m. on a Friday. These poor employees," Dugan said. "Here they are thinking about how the weekend is going to start, just trying to get through the day and at 9am the cops roll in with a search warrant. Needless to say they were shocked and caught off guard."

There are more than 200 videos that date back to 2010, detectives say, but the camera did not capture the victims' faces in some of the videos. Investigators are working to identify those victims while analyzing additional evidence seized in a search of the company this morning.

Stanton faces 123 counts of video voyeurism.
