Tech Talk: Support for Windows XP ends on April 8

Posted: Updated:

Beginning April 8,  Windows XP users will be flying solo.

Microsoft will stop providing support for the 12 year old operating system, meaning security updates and patches will no longer be available.  Users will find themselves up to 5 times more likely to contract a virus or get hacked.

Either updating your operating system or upgrading your computer are the best ways to keep yourself protected.  Of course, if you choose not to, your computer will still run, it will just be more open to cyber attacks.
