BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) -

Three teens from Bloomfield Hills have been charged with a felony home invasion after thousands of dollars in property was stolen from two area houses.

The first incident happened on February 17, 2014 on Cambridge Way in Bloomfield Township. A window pane near the front door was smashed and more than $3,000 of property was taken. The homeowner said cash, designer athletic shoes and headphones were stolen. The homeowner also believed he was targeted because he announced he was going out of town for a few days on social media.

The second incident happened on March 7 on East Hickory Grove in Bloomfield Hills. The homeowner said designer athletic shoes and cash were stolen from the house.

Investigators from Bloomfield Hills and Bloomfield Township identified three suspects and the stolen property was recovered.

Michael Pickens, 17, Khalil Gracey, 17 and Carrington Simons 18 have all been charged with two counts of Home Invasion, second-degree, which is a 15-year felony.
