His job is to serve and protect his community, but now a Banks Co. Sheriff's Deputy needs the community's help.
Deputy Lee Parson lost everything he owned in a house fire Thursday. He says his kids were coming home from school and when they opened the door to their Gillsville mobile home they saw smoke.
By the time Deputy Parson arrived there was nothing he could do. His colleagues at The Banks Co. Sheriff's Office are collecting clothes and monetary gifts to help the Parson family during this time of need.
