PHOENIX (KSAZ) -

The Phoenix Fire Department says a woman was attacked by seven dogs Wednesday afternoon near 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road.

The 34-year-old was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  She has multiple bites from head to toe.

A neighbor ran over to help the victim, who was trying to break up a dog fight.

PFD says the dog breeds are pit bull mixes and shepherd mixes.

The owner of five of the dogs was bitten in the hand and suffered minor injuries.

Maricopa County Rabies and Animal Control authorities say none of the dogs were neutered, spayed, licensed or vaccinated.

The seven dogs involved in the attack were taken by Rabies and Animal Control and will go to quarantine.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
