Sixers Suffer 26th Straight Defeat, Tie Consecutive Loss Record

The 76ers have made history... and this is not the kind of history you want to be a part of.

The Sixers' 120-98 loss Thursday night to the Rockets in Houston was their 26th straight defeat.

That ties the record for most consecutive losses by a U.S. professional team.

Yes, not just the NBA -- all of pro sports.

Previously, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cleveland Cavaliers have both lost 26 in a row at one point in their history.

The Sixers can break the record Saturday at home when they play the Detroit Pistons.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley has more details in this video report.
