JetBlue Plane Makes Emergency Landing After Bird Strike

Posted: Updated:

A pilot was forced to make an emergency landing following an apparent bird strike that apparently caused some damage to the front end of the plane.

JetBlue Flight 671 landed safely at New York's Kennedy Airport Friday morning.

The plane was heading from New York's Westchester County Airport to Palm Beach International Airport when it encountered a bird strike.

As a precaution, the pilot decided to divert to JFK.

A total of 142 passengers were onboard that flight. They are all said to be okay.
