Love 'Em, Or Hate 'Em? Supreme's New Nike Air Foamposite 1's

Posted: Updated:

UPDATE: $910! For sneakers! And they aren't made of gold!

But they were a gold mine for the folks at Supreme stores across the US! According to a spokesperson, the Supreme Nike Air Foamposite 1's have been selling pretty well on eBay. In the last five days, nearly 380 pairs have sold at an average price of $690. We even performed a quick scan of recently ended eBay listings ourselves and found a listing that sold for $910. What's your limit? How much would you pay for a pair?

The Supreme Shoe store in the Fairfax district has people lined up ready to get their hands on a new Nike Air shoe. The Supreme Nike Air Foamposite 1's are $250 retail but being sold on eBay for up to $1000-$1200 per pair!

Supreme actually teamed up with Nike to create this signature shoe for 2014 and it will be available in Supreme stores in New York, Los Angeles, London and online April 3rd. You'll also be able to pick up a pair in Japan on April 5th.

The Nike Air Foamposite 1's originally launched in 1997 as a signature model for Penny Hardaway and were allegedly inspired by a molded sunglass case made of EVA foam. The first Foamposites were released in iridescent colors "to showcase the innovative features and revolutionary seamless build of the shoe," according to Nike. This year's Supreme Nike Air Foamposite 1's will be available in two different color patterns, along with a custom basketball jersey and shorts in matching colors sold separately.

Foamposite 1 US Retail $250
Basketball Jersey US Retail $110
Basketball Short US Retail $110
