Lots of Dodger and Giant fans are all fired up and ready to go to Friday's opening day at Dodger Stadium. After all, it's the beginning at baseball season here with a Dodger team that sounds pretty powerful.
At the same time a new report surfaced from Major League Baseball about the environment at the stadium at the time of the Brian Stowe assault back in 2011. The report suggests "There was a culture of apathy and indifference" among dodger game-day staffers. And, there were other issues questioning whether the stadium had the best security. At Bling Circus, a sports apparel store about 4 miles from Dodger Stadium, some fans said there was some truth from the report from what they say. But, for others, when you have a mix of passion and alcohol, anything can happen.
The Stowe family, which is suing then-owner Frank McCourt, wants to depose the author of that new MLB assessment report. They believe it will help their case.
