A judge in northern Italy handed down a 6-month sentence behind bars to a 42-year-old man who apparently is so good at sex that his girlfriend's screams are just too much for their neighbors.
In an example of how the judicial system works so differently in other countries, the man, from Padua, ended up on trial for stalking because 12 neighbors filed a civil process against him -- not her, according to an Italian news site.
In court papers, the neighbors claimed that the woman's "screams and moans disturbed the peace of the condominium and the decorum of the building." They equated that to being "stalked" by the man.
The man tried to defend himself by saying loud noise isn't stalking, but apparently that didn't sway the judge. The man plans to appeal.
In another tale of loud, randy Europeans, back in 2010 a British woman who was repeatedly cited for "anti-social behavior" because of her extremely loud sex noises was spared jail.
