MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

It's been two days since riot police descended on Dinkytown to address some post-game disturbances, and while it's still unclear what could happen to students involved, a Richfield man is now facing charges.

Michael Juberian, 22, is not a University of Minnesota student, but prosecutors accuse him of hurling bottles, rocks and a concrete chunk at officers near campus after the Golden Gophers fell in the Frozen Four on Saturday night.

Juberian, who lives in Richfield, is now facing one felony charge of second-degree riot while armed with a dangerous weapon and a gross misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault for physically assaulting a peace officer.

According to charging documents filed in Hennepin County, Juberian was identified as one of many people who threw bottles and cans at officers; however, investigators say Juberian was dedicated to the task and would run to find more bottles to hurl at officers when he ran out.

Juberian was tracked to a bus shelter, where he allegedly threw a rock at police officers before lobbing a chunk of baseball-sized concrete that landed on an officer's foot.

Officers eventually subdued Juberian with a "stun blow," according to the charges. He remains in custody.

Of the 19 people arrested between Saturday night and early Sunday, only 8 were U of M students. Most were ticketed and released, but the university has warned additional punishment -- including expulsion -- could await those involved.

Minneapolis police are still reviewing video and still images from Thursday and Saturday night, as is the university.
