City of Troy hosts 'Living with Autism' conference

TROY, Mich. (WJBK) - Hundreds gathered in Troy Friday for the Living With Autism Conference, sponsored by Henry Ford Health System and Metro Parent Magazine.

The keynote speaker, Steven Shore, was nonverbal until the age of four and doctors thought he should go into an institution.

But, with the help of his parents, he proved everyone wrong. FOX 2's Deena Centofanti shares his story.
