One Man Hospitalized After Police Involved Shooting

CAMDEN, N.J. - A 28 year old man is hospitalized after Camden County police shot him in the leg.

At 9:52p.m. four Camden County police officers responded to  7th and Sycamore for reports of a man with a gun in Chestnut Court.

They found James Dickerson who allegedly drew his weapon and fired at police.

The four officers returned fire and shot Dickerson in the leg.

Dickerson is in stable condition at Cooper Hospital. He is charged with four counts of Attempted Murder and weapons offenses and will be transferred to the Camden County Jail when he is medically cleared.
