Police have arrested a Wilmington man who has been charged with forgery and theft related offenses following the theft of a wallet.

Earlier this month, New Castle County Police received a call from a victim in the 200 block of Winston Avenue, Richardson Park, for a theft report.

Officers say the victim who advised his credit cards were used at two gas stations, pharmacies, a restaurant and a clothing store.

Police were able to identify the male suspect after an employee recognized him. As a result, warrants were issued for his arrest.
