Hundreds of items from Inkster Public Schools going up for auction

INKSTER, Mich. (WJBK) -- Hundreds of items from the Inkster School District's closed buildings will be auctioned off online by the Wayne County Regional Educational Service Agency.

Beginning May 1, biddergy.com will hold online auctions to sell remaining assets of the district that was dissolved by the state last summer.

Each day will feature items from different schools. The auction dates, running from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., are :

Baylor-Woodson Elementary, May 1

•Blanchette Middle School, May 8

•9th Grade Academy, May 13

•Inkster High School, May 20

Various items will be sold including kitchen equipment, sporting goods, shop equipment, lockers, furniture, desks, tools and electronics.

All items can be viewed the day prior of each auction from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at each auction's designated address.  All items won at auction are to be paid for and picked up the following day after each auction from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at each auction's designated address
