Surveillance Video Released of Carjacking in Glenwood Gas Station

Posted: Updated:

Police are looking for a man who robbed a woman while in her car in Glenwood. The crime was captured on surveillance video.

On April 20 at 2:43am, a 20-year old woman, and witness stopped to fuel their vehicle at an Exxon Station located at 3101 North Broad Street.

While the witness was pumping gas, an unknown man approached the woman’s vehicle and opened the driver’s door where she was seated asking for money.

When the woman stated she didn’t have any money, the suspect attempted to pull her from the vehicle.

After a violent struggle with the witness and woman, the suspect pulled the woman by her hair and shirt from the vehicle.

The suspect then fled with the woman still hanging on to the vehicle causing her to fall from the vehicle and sustained scrapes and bruises to her legs and was last seen south on Broad Street. She was later taken to Temple hospital for treatment.
