Megan Boone: There Is Not A Lot Of Gray Going On With Me

Posted: Updated:

"Is *he your dad?"

That's Megan Boone pointing at Steve and repeating the question Lisa had just asked about James Spader on the NBC show "The Blacklist". Megan talked about everything from being on a hit series to working with Spader.

"I think that's such a difficult thing to balance being really great at your job and also really great at working with the other people around you and I commend him for that, it's been a real pleasure this year for me...I think we're just happy to be on a hit show together!"

Steve commented about how bubbly and cheerful Megan was Wednesday morning in comparison to her on air persona.

"She's Elizabeth Keene. She's lives in a dark world with a lot of gray tones...there's not a lot of gray going on right now!"

Megan also talked about her short stint on another NBC drama, Law & Order: L.A. She says that helped her be ready for something like "The Blacklist."

"I got some great experience that I think helped me understand how to approach this job better because this job is a procedural and Elizabeth does drive the procedural element and so that's a whole different beast that actors have to acclimate to and fortunately I had a chance to acclimate to that prior to this job."

So when are we going to find out about Liz's secretive past and her relationship with Reddington?

"I'll tell you in season 7."

The season finale of "The Blacklist" airs Monday night at ten on NBC.

Born and raised in Liverpool, signed by an inexperienced agent named Brian Epstein, hustled into the studio with a genius producer named George Martin...and out of that session came a hit song called "Do You Want To Know A Secret." Now here's the twist…we're not talking about The Beatles.
