Three Men Wanted For Multiple Robberies In Tacony And Hunting Park

Posted: Updated:

Tacony-Philadelphia Police are looking for the suspects involved multiple robberies in Tacony and Hunting Park.

Fox 29's Dave Schratwieser reports.

Police say the suspects seem to be targeting businesses with female customers.

“They might feel that's an easy target. They’re not going to get any resistance,” Philadelphia Police Lieutenant Dennis Rosenbaum said.

In the first robbery at the Mayfair Nail Salon last Friday, the gunmen walk in just after 7 p.m.,and robbed 15 to 20 patrons, going station to station stealing all their possessions.

“They take cell phones, pocketbooks, wallets etc.” Lt. Rosenbaum said.

Customers are on edge after the recent robberies.

“They're targeting the stores that have women customers that's not fair, that's not good either,” customer Ebony Perkins said.

The gunmen took over two minutes to complete their criminal sweep of the place. Detectives say there were children inside at the time and the gunmen wouldn't let terrified customers leave.

“One woman tries to leave, slide out the door with her kid and is pushed back just out of camera view and told not to leave,” Lt. Rosenbaum said.

This second video shows the gunmen at work three days later at the Wild and Crazy Beauty Supply store on North Broad Street in Hunting Park . Again, the gunmen terrified everyone inside and collect up over $300 in cash before escaping.

“We think that these two jobs are connected. Cause they have some similarities in description and the way they operate,” Lt. Rosenbaum said.

It's clear from the videos these suspects didn't want to leave anything behind.

“They're loading their pockets and as its falling , they’re picking it up and running out,” Rosenbaum also said.

The business owners did not want to talk to on camera.

Police say the gunmen in each case were left handed.

If you see these suspects do not approach them, contact 911 immediately.
