Detroit Weather Authority Forecast: Chilly Morning, Nice Afternoon

Posted: Updated:
From Fox 2 Weather Authority Alan Longstreet:

Our chilly mornings continue with temps in the 40s. But no wind & clear skies, so once the suns up at 7:15 am we'll start to warm things up.

High pressure in control of our weather today will give way to a cold front dropping south. Not a lot of lift or moisture, so we'll continue with the dry forecast, but temps will take a hit Thursday compared to where we finish today.

High pressure builds back in and ensures rain free weather to finish the week.

Temps rise over the weekend as our rain chances return. The weekend rain forecast is still in question, but for now I'll continue with a dry Saturday & bring the rain chances in Saturday night & Sunday.

Today: Mostly sunny. W wind 5-10 mph. High 69.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. NW wind 5-10 mph. Low 49.

Tomorrow: Partly sunny. NW wind 5-10 mph. High 62.
