Detroit Weather Authority Forecast: Rain's Gone, Cool Air Here for a While

Posted: Updated:
From Fox 2 Weather Authority Alan Longstreet:

Another cool morning, but up a notch from 24 hrs ago. Yesterdays rain is out of here, but skies will start gray this morning. As high pressure builds in from the west, we should get those clouds to break up and allow some sun in the forecast.

This week still looks cool, but pretty nice overall. A weak cold front drops south late Wednesday, but I don't think we see anything other than an increase in clouds.

High pressure works back in behind that and ensures we're not talking rain until the weekend. And I pushed the rain back into the Saturday night/Sunday timeframe.

Today: Mostly cloudy to partly sunny. Patchy fog. WNW wind 5-10 mph. High 65.

Tonight: Mainly clear. Cooler. Low 47.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny. High 69.
