Detroit Weather Authority Forecast: A warm, muggy but dry weekend

Posted: Updated:

Detroit Weather Authority Derek Kevra: High pressure is really playing into our hands this weekend, allowing us to stay mostly dry.

Saturday morning starts with some patchy fog and mild temps in the upper 60s.  The afternoon looks mainly dry and partly cloudy with high temperatures building to about 82.  The humidity stays high.

Sunday looks pretty similar... a foggy start, then partly cloudy and warm (high of 82).

The heat really gets turned up on Monday and Tuesday when the heat index gets close to 90.  Plan on the humidity to remain in the forecast until the end of next week... a cold front on Wednesday finally knocks us back into the 70s starting Thursday.

The forecast looks dry through Tuesday.
