NEWTON COUNTY, Ga. -
Newton County Sheriff's deputies arrested a teen who they say was drunk while riding a lawnmower on Friday.
A resident near Fiddle Creek Drive called the authorities because the teen, Kenneth Corey Craig Starnes, 17, was riding the lawn mower 'in an erratic manner and caused damage to nearby property'.
When authorities arrived on the scene, they say they could smell the order of alcohol exuding from Starnes and they say he began using obscene language toward them. Deputies say when they attempted to calm the teen he refused, and they arrested him.
Starnes was charged with obstruction of a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct and underage consumption of alcohol.
