Police Looking For Robbery Suspects In 3-Week-Long Crime Spree

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

The hunt is on for some armed serial robbers who hit up a McDonald's in Northeast Philadelphia on Monday night.

And that was just the latest in what appears to be a three-week-long crime spree.

Police say these are the same guys who held up a TD Bank on Street Road in Upper Southampton, and the guys who held up a Target on Roosevelt Boulevard last month.

The suspects don't hesitate to show their weapons and make demands.

"They have a gun. They pointed it at a teller yesterday in the bank, walked right in pointed the gun right at her, same as the McDonald's," Lt. Dennis Rosenbaum said.

These three robberies took place within a few miles of each other. In at least one case they escaped in a small, silver SUV.

So, far no one has been hurt.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley was live Thursday morning in Northeast Philadelphia with more on this robbery spree and new, enhanced photos released by police.
