(WJBK) - Investigators have released photos of the suspected accomplices in the robbery of a high-end jewelry store in Oakland County last month.

Authorities say three men robbed Tapper's Diamond and Fine Jewelry in West Bloomfield. The suspects made off with thousands of dollars in Rolex watches in each incident.

Authorities released photos of people who were near Tapper's just before the crime and of those who were close by the newer model Town and County used to get away. Also released were photos of an Equinox and a Passat that could be connected.

An attempted armed robbery also took place at a jeweler in Kent County just hours prior.

"Whether the same individuals were actually in the store or not, or whether there was a swap-out or something like that, I don't think we can specify right now," says FBI Special Agent Paul Abbate. Authorities say the suspects were scared off by the armed owner who fired at and struck one of the suspects.

Several different organizations have put up a reward totaling $25,00 for information leading to an arrest.
