ATLANTA, Ga. - It's National Burger Month.

And restaurants all over Atlanta are celebrating.

Chefs from South City Kitchen, Tap and Hard Rock Cafe stopped by Good Day Atlanta to share their top secret burger recipes for you to try at home.

"The Peacemaker "

  • 2- 4 oz. brass town beef patties (cooked medium)
  • 1 slice Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices bread and butter pickles
  • 1 Tb sautéed mushrooms
  • 1 Tb caramelized onions
  • 2 t. secret sauce*
  • 1 ea. Pumpernickel bun toasted

Season patties lightly with salt and pepper and sear on a griddle or sauté pan over medium high heat. Flip the patties once and cook to medium. Once the patties are flipped place cheese on both patties and pickles in an even layer on one. Stack the patties so the pickles are in the middle and allow to rest. Toast the pumpernickel bun and spread secret sauce on both sides, place caramelized onions on the bottom bun and place the stack of patties on top. Next place warm sautéed mushrooms on top of the burger stack and place the top piece of bread on top.

*Secret Sauce

  • 4 cups Mayo
  • ½ cup Dijon
  • 1 ½ cup whole grain mustard
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 cups B &B pickles, minced
  • 2 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp Pimentos
  • 3 Tbsp siracha

Mix everything in a large mixing bowl until evenly incorporated.


HARD ROCK CAFE

"Fiesta Burger"

  • 8oz beef burger
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt
  • 2 TBL jalapeno salsa
  • 2 slices Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 hamburger bun
  • 1 TBL fresh guacamole
  • 1 TBL pico de gallo
  • 2 leaf iceberg lettuce
  • 1 slice tomato

Shake half of seasoning on burger and place season side down on broiler. Shake remaining seasoning over burger. Cook to desired temperature. Spread jalapeno salsa over the patty. Place cheese slices on patty. Place iceberg lettuce on bottom bun. Place tomato slice on top of lettuce. Place guacamole on top of cheese. Place pico of top of guacamole. Place burger bun on top of finished burger.
