Miggy shakes young fan's hand during his on-deck routine

Posted: Updated:
Boston, MA - How good is Miguel Cabrera?  The reigning two-time American League MVP is heating up this season and maybe it has something to do with just how relaxed he is.

During the final game of a three gamer sweep of the Boston Red Sox, a fan at Fenway came rushing down the stands, extending his hand, hoping to get a handshake from the Tiger's slugger.

Cabrera was heading to the on-deck circle, where most players work themselves into a zone of concentration as they prepare to bat.  But Miggy being Miggy, he stops, turns and takes a few seconds to shake the boy's hand.

What a class act.

I'm sure it helps that right now Cabrera seems to seeing the baseball like they're the size of beach balls, but still, great to see him so relaxed as the Tigers continue their win streak and hold the best record in the Majors and 27-12.

Way to go #24.  Hope this is the year you get to wear a second ring on those hands.
