Michigan's Parkinson Walk-A-Thon and 5k this weekend

myFOXdetroit.com - Parkinson's Disease is affecting over 1.5 million Americans, but Michigan's Parkinson Foundation is taking steps to make a difference. Join FOX 2's Roop Raj at the, I Gave My Sole for Parkinson's Walk-A-Thon and 5k Run, this weekend at a location convenient for you!

Schedule: 
Registration for Kid's Fun Run: 9:00 - 9:45 am 
Registration for Walk/5K Run: 9:30 - 10:30 am 
Kid's Fun Run: 10:00 am 
Opening Ceremonies: 10:45 am 
5K Run/Walk/Stroll begins: 11:00 am 
Award Presentations: (approx.) 12:00 pm

Westside: 
Sunday, June 8: Northville
Location: Northville High School

Fees
5K Run: $20.00
Walkathon (13 and older): $15.00
Walkathon (12 and under): $10.00
*Add additional $5 late registration fee after June 2, 2014.

The goal is that every person with Parkinson's and related disorders to receive responsive compassionate quality care and support. You can still join the cause! Late registration is available onsite the day of the event. A $5 late fee will be charged.
