Huge food court opens in Lower Manhattan

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A food court called Hudson Eats opened its doors to eager Lower Manhattan residents this week. It is the brand-new gourmet food hall inside the former World Financial Center, now called Brookfield Place.

The new hot spot is made up of boutique eateries who've gained popularity in other parts of the city, like Quinn Barbeque. Co-founders Misha and Christos have watched thousands of suits pour in from the surrounding towers for lunch. Their famous brontosaurus rib is always crowd-pleaser.

You just might fall asleep at your desk if you devour a pound of short rib on your lunch break, so there's a light lunch across the way at Chop't and flavorful Mexican fare at Dos Toros Taqueria.

Kids will love Hudson Eats, too. Adam Schneider owns super fancy grilled cheese joint Little Muenster. He's cooked up something special for the little ones. Two summertime favorites collide in this rich lobster grilled cheese.

For a sweet ending to your culinary journey through Hudson Eats, look no further than sprinkles cupcakes.
