Teen arrested in attack during gay pride event

Posted: Updated:
DETROIT (WJBK) - Police say they have made an arrest in the videotaped beating of a man during gay pride celebration in downtown Detroit.

We're told the suspect is a minor.

The recorded beating shows the victim, who asked Fox 2 to refer to him as Chong Lee, getting repeatedly punched and kicked.

Lee's sustained a bloody eye, a bruised forehead and broken fingers.

Lee believes he was targeted because of his sexual orientation and says the attackers used homophobic slurs.

Investigators are still working to identify others involved in the attack.
