Most every man would agree, there's nothing like a good haircut and clean shave, the old fashioned kind from an old-school barber. There's a new shop that offers just that, and more.

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Warning: Graphic Pictures

UPDATE: We first told you about Myla last Friday -- the 7-year-old boxer who suddenly found herself an orphan after her family was no longer able to care for her.  Sadly, Myla passed away after undergoing surgery to remove a massive tumor from her back.  There is one positive note about this story though -- since we told you about her, a sanctuary for pets known as Forever Loved has received at least 100 donations and that money will be used to help sick animals in the future.

Myla is a 7 year-old boxer who suddenly found herself an orphan a week ago. The family who cared for her since she was a puppy surrendered her to Maricopa County Animal Care and Control.

She has since been picked up by a local rescue, but they need help raising money for Myla's surgery, which she had on Tuesday.

Myla is a friendly, feisty, boxer-mix. The only thing wrong with her is a massive cancerous lump that weighs 9 pounds.

It's been growing for about a year and a week ago her owner's gave her up.

"Our understanding was they couldn't afford the cost to take this growth off," said Luisa Chocron with Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary.

"Realistically we are always full, but when they contacted us about her, and we saw the pictures, we just couldn't say no," said Chocron.

The surgery will end up costing between $1,000 to $3,000.

The good news is the tumor doesn't seem to bother Myla, she's still a happy dog, when you touch it, it feel like a warm massive growth of tissue.

"It's really just a buildup of tissue, why it happened, we don't know," said Chocron.

The rescue believes once the tumor is removed, she'll be ready to start over with a new family.

"She should be a great addition to any family, and the previous owners did have children, so she's great with kids. She's been around other dogs, I believe cats as well, she's all around a really great dog," said Chocron.

Once Myla recovers, she will be put up for adoption.

If you'd like to make a donation or want to adopt Myla you can find out more information at www.foreverlovedpets.org
