TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A Tucson man has been arrested for allegedly performing liposuction illegally out of his home.

Pima County Sheriff's officials announced Monday that 51-year-old Gustavo Nunez has been booked into jail on suspicion of two counts of practicing medicine without a license.

Sheriff's deputies investigated a report of suspicious activity Saturday evening at a home near the Omni Tucson National Golf Resort.

They say Nunez was performing the fat-removal procedure on multiple victims at his house.

It's unclear if Nunez has a lawyer yet.

Authorities are trying to identify possible victims of illegal cosmetic surgery procedures performed in the Tucson area.

The Attorney General's office says Nunez is not a physician and is not licensed in Arizona to practice medicine.

The office says authorities are seeking people who have undergone cosmetic surgery at Nunez's home on the 8600 block of North Bobby Jones Drive, at an industrial warehouse located at 1656 N. 15th Ave. or other locations.

According to the office, the procedures could include liposuctions, lip injections, Botox injections, and other similar cosmetic procedures and plastic surgeries.
