Former Bishop Foley teacher arraigned on sex charges

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WJBK)-- A former Bishop Foley high school teacher, who is accused of having sex with a 15-year-old student, is facing more charges in more cities.

Today, Spanish teacher Kathryn Ronk, 29, appeared in a video arraignment in a Shelby Township court on accusations that she had sex in the teen's home in Macomb Township. Ronk is charged with two counts of first-degree sexual conduct and furnishing alcohol to a minor. She will also face charges in Sterling Heights, where she is accused of having sex with the student in a parking lot.

Ronk already faces accusations of having sexual relations with her student in her classroom.

Ronk is currently free on $500 thousand bond after being charged in madison heights with five counts of criminal sexual conduct and will return to court on July 9 for a preliminary examination.
