Summer is here and that means it is time for trips and quality family time, but for divorced parents, it can be tough to make all the schedules work. Jessica Woll, managing partner of family law firm Woll & Woll, P.C., says parents should always put their kids first. Woll also stresses the need to be flexible. As children grow, their needs change; a parenting time schedule created when the child was four years old may not be right for the child at fifteen. Also, a schedule that works during the school year may not be conducive to everyone's summer schedules.
